Our Horizon Poptop/Elevating Roof elevates your ID Buzz from an electric people‑mover into a fully capable camper van without sacrificing aesthetics or efficiency.
With a slim, aircraft‑grade aluminium frame, strong hinges, and smart engineering, the Horizon Poptop integrates seamlessly into the Buzz’s roofline while providing a comfortable sleeping area and added headroom when deployed.
This isn’t just a generic “pop‑top” — it’s a purpose-built elevating roof system, carefully designed for both form and function.
As with all the Horizon roof range, our main goal is to make the lowest profile roof on the market, giving you that OEM look.
Due to only 30mm increased height, range will not be effected when one of our roofs is installed. With zero wind noise your EV experience will not be compromised.
We have also achieved 6ft 2' standing room at the rear of the ID Buzz, with roof bed elevated. With enough room for two adults to sleep and sit comfortably with roof bed lowered.
The Horizon ID Buzz Edition also allows ample headroom for rear passengers.

We provide 3 different finishes to our Buzz roof installs, this allows you as the customer to select the perfect finish for your campervan interior.

Option 1 Carpet Package - This is our most selected as it provides a high quality finish and is super durable.

Option 2 Alcantara Package - If you want a luxury finish then look no further, this material will make your van feel and look like a prestige vehicle.

Option 3 Factory finish - We can trim the Horizon Roof in matching headliner material, to match the factory cab.
